Representative Alan Grayson's (D-FL 9th prior 8th) tenure in Congress has been marked by outrageous antics. Thus it is not surprising that there are heated words between Democrats fighting for the nomination in the Senate race to replace Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL).
However, Rep. Patrick Murphy's slam of comparing Alan Grayson to Donald Trump seems to be underlined by this weekend's stunt.
Grayson married the candidate who seeks to replace him in Congress. Grayson married Dr. Dena Minning, a candidate for Florida's 9th Congressional District, the seat which Grayson is vacating to stump for Senate.
Conveniently, Minning is taking Grayson's name, at least for the campaign. Hope that she doesn't take fashion cues from her spouse. Maybe the new Mrs. Grayson will be treated less abusively than Grayson's first wife.
